Twlight Sparkle

Twlight Sparkleelement of Magic

Twilight Sparkle is the primary main character of My little pony Friendship is Magic. She is a female Unicorn pony who transforms into an alicorn and becomes a princess in Magical Mystery   Cure. She is also the younger sister of Shining Amour and sister-in-law to Princess Cadance. At the beginning of the series, she and Spike, her best friend and assistant, move from Canterlot to Golden Oak Library in Ponyvile to study the Magic of friendship, and in Twlight's Kingdom - Part 2, she gains her own castle as part of her Friendship Rainbow Kingdom and gains the title "Princess of Friendship". Twilight Sparkle represents the element of magic. Before becoming a princess, she regularly send Friendship Report to Princess Celestia.Twilight adopts a pet owl named Owlowiscious.

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash element of Loyalty

Rainbow Dash is a female Pegasus pony and one of the main characters in My little pony Friendship is Magic. She maintains the weather and clears the skies in Ponyvile. As a huge fan of the Wonderbolts, she dreams of one day joining their elite flying group. In Sonic Rainboom, Rarity and Princess Celestia both declare that she is the best flier in all of Equestria. Rainbow Dash has a pet tortoise named Tank.She represents the element of loyalty .

Applejack
Applejackelement of Honesty

Applejack is a female Earth pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She lives and works at Sweet Apple Acres with her grandmother Granny Smith, her older brother Big Mclntosh, her younger sister Apple Bloom, and her dog Winona. She represents the element of honesty. She works at Sweet Apple Acres mainly as an apple bucker, although the Apples occasionally farm carrots and corn as well.

Rarity
Rarityelement of Generosity

Rarity is a female unicorn pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She is Sweetie Belle's older sister and the love interest of Spike. Rarity works as both a fashion designer and as a seamstress at her own shop in Ponyville, the Carousel Boutique. She has a white Persian cat named Opalescence. She represents the element of generosity.

Fluttershy
Fluttershyelement of Kindess

Fluttershy is a female Pegasus pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She lives in a small cottage near the Everfree Forest and takes care of animals, the most prominent of her charges being Angel the bunny. She represents the element of kindness.

Pinkie Pie
Pinkie Pieelement of Laughter

Pinkie Pie is a female Earth pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Pinkie's mother and father call her by her full name, Pinkamena Diane Pie, respectively in The Cutie Mark Chronicles, Pinkie is energetic and sociable, and she represents the element of laughter. She works at Sugarcube Corner and lives on the bakery's second floor with Gummy, her pet toothless baby alligator. She writes and performs many songs, and she is the source of many of the comical and cartoonish gags in the show.
